This is a great video about sidechaining, an audio process that can be used for a lot of unusual effects and can solve a bunch of audio issues with competing tracks. But that just scratches the surface. Sidechaining audio compressors for example is a great way to record vocal harmonies that blend perfectly with each other with regards to their relative loudness.
